BBQ party

The bbq at Yi Ling's house was crazy. I went straight after work then bbq the food myself. We continued to play games after the bbq until 12am plus then almost all went home. Left with me, andre, wei qin and yi ling. We tidy up the stuffs then played poker cards. I think my skills wasn't that good because I am the one who kept drinking the awful wine which was mixed with ice-lemon tea. Only 3 words to descibe (oh my god!) the taste is really very bad (disgusting) but luckly, it was diluted. Really can't take it anymore after many rounds. Manage to get some sleep around 4am plus and went back around 7am. The worst thing i that my phone is out of battery the same night..

I had finally finish watching New Heart.. Happy ending:]

I need to remind myself never to be late again!! I had been late twice this week although it's only 2-4mins but it is still late.. The third time I am late, I will be dead.

Christmas

I went to watch a movie [Twilight] with Hui Lian and Wan Ti... The movie was well directed. However, people who had read the story book said that the story book is more interesting. The movie put in more romance. More of relationship issue compared to exciting movements. To sum up, it's still quite exciting and a enjoyable movie to watch (3/5 stars).
Once again, I visit the coffee house [Gloria Jean's] because the offer is still going on ($3) for any chillers and the cookies & cream chiller is flavorful (because I only tried that for the time being). But I feel that less sweetness would taste better. Overall, it was definitely worth it:) Then we went for window shopping. I went to Bishan to visit my friend and home..

Christmas eve is not enjoyable at all... I almost stuck at Orchard tonight.. Huge crowd near Orchard Mrt so I U-turn and cross the road to tangs..

The condition improve a bit at Paragon but still quite crowded.. Waste 45 mins at Orchard and finally took Mrt to Bishan.

This is when I feel secured, fine and relax.. (peace) Finally, I manage to broad the Mrt.. And took 156 home..

Weight

Went to gym with my bro just now, he taught me some new moves... Hope to 'jian fei cheng gong'.. haha...
Takashimaya was filled with people yesterday, so busy, first time experienced that busyness but nothing to do towards the end... But got free puffs yesterday night from the papa shop just opposite us! The puffs was nice and yummy:) And definately, it put on some weight on me.. I though that I would save some time any money on travelling after knowing the night bus NR6 but first bus starts at 12am. I had left with no choice but to take mrt then 156.. Reach home at 12:30am.. tired
Have to work harder tomorrow, after tonights dinner:]

Edusave Awards

I have received the Edusave Awards form, [Edusave Award for Achievement, Good Leadership and Service(EAGLES)], today! Very happy about it. All thanks to my Band and Interact Club... My first and last edusave award from secondary school. Actually I wasn't a good leader just my luck and commitment. I am more of a good follower. [But I am learning to be a good leader:)] Start to worry about my 'O' results since December because 2009 is reaching, which means that results are coming too..

Anyway, good news always come with bad news.

Learn two new things from tako pachi yesterday (since nothing to do at Bishan), besides cashier. I have learn to make the flour and the flipping of balls part. Still can't flip yet but I will learn (Of course)... Actually I think Bishan tako pachi will be nicer because every ball is in good condition, not that rush so hope business is better there, if not I will be very boring.
My Saturday tako pachi job have to cancel [less income ($30)].

What a day

I will miss my 'exciting' little nonya tomorrow because I will be working tomorrow night:(.. Money is hard to earn. I guess I will have more income from next week onwards because I am working more days...

Met an ungracious thing on bus today. (Just now) When a bunch of people board the bus which unluckyly, I am also on the same bus.. They played loud music for the whole bus and happily think that the bus is their KTV lounge (as they sang with the song loudly too).. No manners.. But it's still okay with me. The worst thing was, one or two of the "gang" member smoked on the bus.. I was really annoyed by that. Although i didn't saw the person smoking but the smell when off as they get out of the bus, so i was quite confirmed that it was them..
What a day to met those people...

My aunty also shared with me one of her experience. She was nearly being scam by people. The peoson fake her daugter voice and call her to bring the money to somewhere and told her not to tell anybody but luckily my uncle and her son managed to stop her after comfirming that her daugter was fine... But she was really lucky because she did not manage to get a cab immediately. If not the money is gone.

Missed

Long time never blog because nothing big is happening to me... Everything is going smoothly, including my 'tako pachi' job. Getting hand of it after my three days of experiences, just that I need to react more quickly and improve my memory:) I think I will be moving to Bishan soon... actually I missed taka because there is where I learn almost everything. The people ans costumer there also quite nice.. The Christmas decoration quite nice bah.. I didn't really look closely into the decorations because I was rushing home everyday.. Reached home at 12am due to transportation time..
I missed my little nonya for the pass two days, trying to watch "Iljimae" now, so that I don't miss any episode. Umm, kind of attracted to it after watching their commercial.

Tried to cook my meals these few days [for lunch only]. My skills are not up to standard yet.. (May look nice but taste not really good)

Overcome

Everyone seems to be very busy, even the frequent bloggers have not been blogging!.

Anyway, I have found a job at Takashimaya (Tako Pachi)... Went for their orientation yesterday(2/12/08). Feeling very nervous because it's my first working experience.. Made some mistakes but not a big problem. The worst of all is that I changed wrongly when doing casher. The person gave me $50 note then i return him $17.70 which I should actually gave him $47.70 in return. Luckly he spoted my mistake and I returned him [I felt so sorry for that] I will be alert next time.. [I must overcome my fear!] The job only allow me to work for a few days [exclude sat&sun] as a newbie. Starting a 'serious' one this friday from 5pm-11pm.. Umm, hope that everything will be fine:) Went to Hougang Polyclinic with SW for typhoid injection which cost $22.70, luckly I had brought enough money.. Feels like being BOXED/ blue-black like that which last for a day already.

My legs have blisters and injury due to my new shoes [not fitting, I guess]
Still trying to learn some languages... My English is getting worst as day past..

I think i have lost the momentum of blogging..

Anyway, nothing much to blog too. Bored at home everyday, not everyday but most of the time. OG job is hopeless because they did not contact me. So, I am looking forward to the Tori-Q job recommended by my cousin then going for the orientation next Tuesday. Hope to get in because i want the job very very much. . . [At least is better than to stay at home doing nothing]

Went for a MRT trill with SW on Friday(27/11/08) and watched Madagascar 2 and had a great cup of Ice Blended cookies & cream coffee for just $3... Then after the continuious of travelling on the MRT to AMK and finally brought my shoe:) [Finally] Then Miss Soh insist of looking for the WEIRD path in AMK park after buildng sand pyramid... We walk the whole park 2-4times if I'm not wrong. [Dotsss]

Umm.. nothing good is happening after my 'O'.
Tomorrow is the start of December!! [Nothing special actually]

Personal

Umm.. Quite a long time never blog le...

Everything seems to be a dream.. However, this is not a good dream, it just happen so quickly that I don't even know how to react... My paper cranes did not work. I am not that sad about the paper cranes that I use my time, effort, heart to fold because that was my sincerity although my mum also said that it's no use but I would like to reform my wish in another manner.. I hope that everyone living is in good health & fortune then my granny would have a better next live.. Last week was like a dream but also a lesson for me in my live and lots of Buddhism lesson that are closely related to personal life.

Suddenly thought of wealthiness. There is few kind of wealthiness to me. They are the mental and physical wealth.
Mental wealthy is set by oneself. One may feel wealthy having love from families/friends while the others may think of other things..
Physical wealth to me is the appearance people who look to be rich (branded cars/bags/clothes... and own land property), lots of money/cash, but their inside is empty [ ].
And of course, I want to be the mentally wealth one, having & giving love and care.

Still hope to get a job soon that start at 1st December so that I can rest and do my things this week.. Finally, I started work out at the gym today:) after the lesson by my brother yesterday.. haha.. because weeks before, I said that I want to slim down then he agreed to teach me F.O.C before he booked in yesterday... Did it myself today, feeling good.. But I cut down the number of sets today because it's my first time so quite tough.. but I will do full set next time:)

Paper Cranes

I did few things today. The most time spending one is folding of paper cranes. My grandmother was unwell so I decided to fold paper crane. Hope that she will be well..

Then I went on to look for the meaning of it and it says that:
"The crane is a majestic bird which mates for life and is extremely loyal to its partner. The bird is strong, graceful and beautiful. Because of the great importance of the crane, the Japanese people feel that a person who folds 1,000 cranes will be granted his or her greatest wish."

However, I was unable to fold a thousand but I manage to fold a hundred today.. Never tried folding so many in a day, quite tiring but i feel that all hardship is worth it because it was quite nice.

I am quite busy with some stuffs like shopping and looking for jobs these few days.. But most of the time, I was doing nothing except watching television programme or play games. Life is getting boring. When will I get a job??

Before I jump into my event, there is one event during the 'O' that I have forgotten is the 34th N.C.O pop which my juniors went. Nothing much had change except for the people, the place, the instructors and the feeling... (actually quite a lot)

Thursday (13/11/08)
It's the PSL farewell party.. We are the ones being farewell then everything was fine. However, I was upset not because I was leaving but because most of my next board of juniors did not turned up. I thought that I will see my juniors doing a better job than me but most of them had a heart to quit at this moment which I felt really disappointed. I know they can make it, it's just that they don't want to do it.. Hope that they will really think seriously and thoughtfully especially Adella! Anyway, senior batch also not much people.
I still have to thanks whoever that have made the cards for us and the messages. The certificate of distinction printed and laminated by the teachers:)

Friday (15/11/08)
Went out with Choon Lan and Hui Lian. It is supposed to have 6 people then reduced to 3 because Wanti injured herself then our plan spoilt..Next time no matter of what, Wanti must go out with us, at least for once.
Then we went to watch High School Musical 3: Senior Year. It was quite a enjoyable movie but it would be better if it is live! Because I feel like clapping my hands when I'm watching it too.. Hope to get the songs soon. Pretty nice.We continued our journey to Tampinese for lunch then to Bugis. We end up so tired walking and standing for so long because the train and bus do not have enough seats. But I have recovered now..

Saturday (16/11/08)
Did nothing much today, watch television programmes, play viwawa then go Swimming and blogging now.
Heard that my grandmather is injured, hope that she will be fine.

'O' level is finally over!!:)
I can finally update my blog now... Life is as normal as usual, nothing to be happy about, quite boring actually.. Nothing to do at home..

Downtown East (18-19 October)
Just before the start of 'O' levels, my parents and I celebrate my 2 brother's birthday at Downtown East. Elder one had already turned 21 and younger one also 20 year old.. Time passed so quickly that everything seems to happen in a moment only. We booked a room at the chalet. The chalet room was quite good, at least there are 4 beds. I actually wrote down a list of items that was provided in the chalet but it would be troublesome to type it out. haha, just lazy. the decorated door..

That day is the most unbeliever day that I had never met in my life! Because my uncle brought them a 4D thicket as a gift for them and they struck the FIRST PRIZE (so lucky), each of them managed to get a big sum of 'an bao' money... My uncle also brought so he also won the prize! The atmosphere was lighted with joy and happiness. It was really an unforgettable day, I think that was the biggest gift they would ever receive.

The next day, my whole family went to play bowling because there is free games. It was fun, although my ball always goes to the drain:) but everyone was doing well after some practices. We went to the E!hub for lunch and dinner... THE END

Although O level have come to an end.. Our studies do not stop here, there are still so many things that I need to learn.. And this is just the beginning of my journey:] Now, I need to look for a job while waiting for my results. Hope that everything will work well.

Trip to SAFTI

Although examinations are just around the corner but I did not regret to spent some of my precious time at SAFTI open house, with my family.

There is a family visit for the Officer Cadet recruit today. Since my brother was one of them, we are invited to visit him. Under my mum and elder brother's "consolation", I went for the visit. He said that this will be my last and only chance to visit. [haha:)]

We saw the place they lived and trained. It was quite a nice and comfortable environment as two people share a room like hostel. We brought lunch for my brother.

After he finish his meal, he brought us around the camp, to the SAFTI tower where we saw the view of Singapore. (so nice...) Then after, we took bus and when to a hall where we saw the video about their trainings for the past two weeks.. (quite interesting though)

There is nothing wrong with the trip but something wrong with my mobile phone. I feel like throwing it down to the pool... but it cost... Anyway, this phone gave me lots of trouble. I upload my music list for three to four times because it will somehow got missing from my phone! And today is the worst. Because it did not even allow me to upload. I was so frustrated. It was a waste of time if I were to do that everyday.. My day was spoiled by my phone.

Anyway, today is suppose to be a happy and enjoyable day. It's our school graduating ceremony. However, I was upset up family matters just before the ceremony..( let's drop the matter)

The graduation ceremony was just another day for me except that the teachers are more warming as they sent us for our study break to prepare for 'O' Level examinations. I can see that the teachers had tried their best to do whatever they can for their last lesson with us this week. There are tonnes of worksheet and notes to do and revise. I hope that I will make good use of it. However, I was a bit late so missed out parts of the slide show, hope that it can be found somewhere.

17 days to 'O' level

It was the end of my terrible days. My computer was working well now, I had many to blog previously but sadly, my computer suffered some sort of disease.. Haha

Anyway, I got back all my prelim results and was a kind of disappointing. Especially for my L1, English. I could not figure out why my English was so bad. Maybe I did not learn it well from young and did not put in much effort too. Ranked second disappointing subject is my humanities.. The main reason might be the fact that I did not studied much /or was I over confident? Although I did not flunk any of my examinations, but it did not meet my expectations.
However, I am not giving in, I will continue to work hard for what I want. So that I will not regret when I received my 'O' level cert next year.

Had physic extra lesson today morning about D.C circuits.....



Then being asked to play badminton at kovan with Shereen, Andre and his brother. 1 hour is a bit short actually, but FUN. I was not really very tired except for my pair of legs as i had been ''saving'' the 'near-net' ball:) then when to have bubble tea (thanks for alwin treat). We waited for Mr Lim to come, at the same time, had our dinner. Mr lim only had a drink then he drove all of us back (thank Mr lim for the ride).. I was glad that I was back to Yio Chu Kang Rd not Yio Chu Kang, haha..



Tomorrow my family will be celebating our mum's birthday..

The teachers' day celebration was fine except for some human and technical problems.. Things still move on. The feedback from me is that {waiting time=performing time} waited so long for it to start.
I only participated in the Captain's Ball today but still felt a little restless. Maybe is because we lost, and I cheered to 'high', haha.. Anyway loss or win doesn't matter la, just a game. We have to move on. GG

Tomorrow will be the band P.O.P. Finally, after a long.......................wait, we can pass out tomorrow.

I don't know if I'm on bad luck this day..
The story goes on like this:
1. I decided to wear slippers to school, since it was raining lightly.

2. Few meters of walk after I alight at the bus stop, my one of my slippers tore apart.
It rain heavily then I had no choice but to change back to my school shoes..

3. Then I am wet from top to toe when I reached school.(I am not the only one:)haha)
4. Exams must carried on. 2 Hours I sat in the hall doing ADD. MATH.. Feeling so uncomfortable. then my chair also wet.. hee
The paper was manageable but I don't know if I had done it correctly.. "Whats over is over"

The weather is Unpredictable.. Morning was raining then just now was so sunny..

SS test is over. Finally got time to do some stuffs.. English end. AM P1 end. SS end.
I think tomorrow will be the most tiring day this year because I am participating in both captain's ball and basketball.. Due to *acers day.. *SRY for SPELLING ERROR But at the same time, it would be fun too. Besides that, we will be having teacher's day mini concert tomorrow :)
